App Privacy Policy

In short: everything happens on your device, and we receive nothing.

All processing is local

Our apps do all of their work on your iPhone or iPad. Whatever you type, scan, calculate or create stays in the app's on-device storage. It is processed by your device, not by a server.

You stay in control: if you export or share something from an app (for example through the iOS share sheet), that is your own action, and the content goes only where you choose to send it. Deleting the app deletes the data it holds on your device.

We receive no information from the apps

  • No personal data, account, name or email address is collected.
  • No analytics, advertising identifiers, crash-reporting or tracking tools are built into the apps.
  • No data is shared with, sold to, or made available to third parties, because we do not have any.
  • The apps do not require you to create an account.

Apple may provide us with aggregated, anonymous statistics about downloads through App Store Connect. These cannot identify you and are governed by Apple's own privacy policy.

GDPR

Because Apalala holds no personal data about app users, there is nothing to access, correct, export or erase on our side. The apps are designed in line with the GDPR principles of data minimisation and privacy by design. If you nevertheless believe we hold data about you, you can exercise your rights as described in our general privacy policy, including your right to complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority.

Children

Since no information is collected, our apps do not gather data from children either.
