Privacy Policy
Policy version: . Controller: Apalala srl, Ruelle des bois 1, 1325 Longueville, Belgium — info@apalala.be.
In short: we respect your privacy. This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics, and our apps process everything locally and send us nothing. We do not store personal data about our visitors or app users, and we never sell or share data. This policy is written to comply with the GDPR.
This page is the privacy reference for this website. The iOS apps have their own page: App Privacy Policy. This page is the general reference cited by Apalala app store listings. It works without JavaScript, without cookies, and from any link — the URL never changes; updates happen here via the version date and the changelog below.

What we process on this website
This website sets no cookies, loads no trackers, and runs no analytics. Every font and asset is self-hosted. Nothing on this page fingerprints you or follows you across other sites.
The only processing that happens is what any static web host's server logs minimally require to deliver the page: your IP address, for the purpose of delivering content and keeping the site secure and operational. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)); retention follows the hosting provider's log configuration, and logs are not combined with any profiling or advertising data.
What our mobile apps process
The Apalala iOS and Android apps are built privacy-by-design: no personal data leaves the device. Data you enter in an app stays in the app's on-device storage unless you explicitly export or share it yourself. We collect no names, no email addresses, no health data, and no analytics identifiers on our servers.
| App | Platform | Data categories | Storage location | What is NOT collected |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Apalala apps (per-app rows to be filled in by app owners before the next policyVersion bump) | iOS / Android | Content you create in the app, held locally only | On-device | No personal data sent to servers; no health data; no trackers or analytics |
App store "nutrition labels" are kept in sync with this section; if a row and a store label disagree, this page's versioned changelog is the audit trail.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you;
- Rectification — have incorrect data corrected;
- Erasure — have your data deleted;
- Restriction of processing;
- Portability — receive your data in a usable format;
- Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@apalala.be. For questions about our apps, write to support@apalala.be. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (APD/GBPA), Rue de la Presse 1, 1000 Brussels.
Children and special categories
We do not knowingly collect special-category data (such as health data) through this website, and this site is not directed at children. Our mobile apps are privacy-by-design tools: because nothing leaves the device, no app transmits children's data or health data to Apalala. App-specific notes, where relevant, are listed in the table above.
In simple words: when you use our website or our apps, nobody is watching, nothing is sold, and your private things stay private on your own device. If you are a young person using one of our apps, a grown-up can help you ask us questions at the email address on this page.
